Posted: November 23, 2011 in Gear Reviews

Water Monkey is back again making some gear reviews. Tested out the Rocklite 295 by inov8 in some good and hostile 30 mile terrain over a 3 day hike in November 2011. Here are my thoughts on how these trail runners performed based on my gangsta requirements:

Lets recap where we left off – someone stole my spare tire off my jeep, forgot my stick pic, lost my sunglasses somewhere on the trail, I couldn’t get a fire started at night, my water took forever to boil, and my tarp tie out went kaput…. Well at least the world is my toilet. Lets see how Day 2 works out for me (get some pop corn it’s a 20 minute video):

Water Monkey

Finishing off day 1…. Will The Water Monkey make it to his destination? Well lets take a gander shall weeeeee:

Thug Life,

Water Monkey

Oh yeah Water Monkey is out gangsta style in the woods for 3 days 2 nights. Got 2 batteries for my camera and I’m out to have a grand ole time.

The first video is meant to NOT disappoint all those who are expecting me being an idiot in the woods! This part is from off the train to the first shelter and everything in between!

I’m droppin a bunch of shout outs and if I missed anyone I am sorry I’m just out there winging it:

Thug Life,

Water Monkey

Yo Yo Yo…. What happens when the Monkey is forced to wait for a custom design… well he starts thinking of how to present it… and idol monkeys produce ridiculous movies:

So far the only thing I’m not happy with is the stuff sack. Seems a pain to stuff back in so I’m going to be looking for a bigger stuff sack make things easier.

Other than that…. can’t wait to test this bad boy out on my next adventure in November 2011!!!

Always Gangsta and totally insane,

Water Monkey

Water Monkey represents how he ties up his guy lines and stows them away…. Droppin Knowledge Everywhere:
