Inov8 Rocklite 295 Video Review

Water Monkey is back again making some gear reviews. Tested out the Rocklite 295 by inov8 in some good and hostile 30 mile terrain over a 3 day hike in November 2011. Here are my thoughts on how these trail runners performed based on my gangsta requirements:

  1. Thanks for the info. I’m looking at reworking my whole system(packs,shoes…) So the more reviews the better.

    Would you take those on the JMT with 30-35 lbs on your back?

    • Normally the consensus is that total pack weights in the 20’s and below are comfortable with trail runners. Outside of that it may be uncomfortable or you may not get the correct ankle support based on the weight you are bearing. The choice is up to you.
