Partial Under Quilts – 2/3 or 3/4… Which One To Choose????

Posted: February 19, 2012 in Gear Reviews, Hammock Camping

I’ve seen a few questions about which partial under quilt would be a better fit for someone. The questions have basically been coming down to HammockGear’s 3/4 Phoenix or Warbonnet’s 2/3 Yeti. Since I had both I figured I would put them head to head to help those out as to which one would be better for them based on visuals:

Good visual for anyone sitting on the fence. I have to agree with shadowalpha that one ain’t enought 🙂
I have the Phoenix too and like it a lot. I use the summer UG (2/3 length) from Leighlo and I like it a lot too. It is not as easy to adjust, but once I got it dialed into my B-bird, I use a green S-biner to mark the foot end (green means grass and foot end) so that I hang the same each time. I am pretty short, so the phoenix is darn near full length for me.
